LAKEPORT, Calif. – Women of the Word Ministries of Lakeport Christian Center announces a new Bible Study Series entitled "Jeremiah: Daring to Hope in an Unstable World.”
The seven-week series begins this Thursday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. in classroom B1 at Lakeport Christian Center's educational facility.
Pastor Ruth Suski is featuring "Intro to the Prophet" this Thursday while the next six weeks of the study will be facilitated by Virginia Sneed.
There is no charge for attendees of the study and it is open to the public.
Lakeport Christian Center is located at 455 S. Forbes St.

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – A Peace Pole shall be dedicated at Main and First streets in Kelseyville at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 21.
The brief peace pole dedication service will be led by Pastor Voris Brumfield of the Kelseyville United Methodist Church, closing prayer by Pastor Lucy Bunch of the Lake County Unitarian Universalist Church.
All are invited to attend.
Both churches meet Sundays at 3810 Main St. in Kelseyville.
The Kelseyville United Methodist Church Service begins at 9 a.m., with the Lake County Unitarian Universalist Service at 11 a.m.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Peggy Price, inspiration speaker of www.heartbeats4Him.com , will be the featured speaker at the Women of the Word Fall Kickoff to be held on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Lakeport Christian Center, located at 455 S. Forbes St.
The Women of the Word Fall Kickoff is free of charge and open to the public.

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The service at the Unitarian Universalist Community of Lake County on Sunday, Sept. 21, is entitled, “Genesis: And in the Beginning ..."
The service starts at 11 a.m. at the church, located at 3810 Main St. in Kelseyville.
Guests are welcome.
Presented by the Rev. Lucy Bunch, the service will look at the many stories about the beginnings of the earth and humankind.
Rev. Bunch will explore what these stores have in common and offer ideas of how we can all contribute to creation.
Unitarian Universalist tradition affirms that inspiration and meaning may be found in many sources, including the natural world, personal experience, history and religious tradition.
