CLEARLAKE, Calif. – First Baptist Church of Clearlake will hold a block party and yard sale on Saturday, June 2.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the corner of Mullen and Pearl at Holy Hill in Clearlake.
There will be a bouncy house for children, music by the 2 Praise Bands, a mobile dental unit provided by James Kinsel DDS, hot dog and sodas for 75 cents, a giant yard sale, and displays by Model T antique car and model airplane clubs.
Proceeds will go directly to the First Baptist Church Food Bank that donates bags of food to needy families.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Heart Strings will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, at the Lakeport Community Seventh-day Adventist Church, at Park and Hill, right off Highway 29.
The group, from Sonora, plays Smokey Mountain-style music on the guitar and hammer dulcimer.
Come and enjoy a evening of Christian music and refreshments to follow.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Heritage Singers, a group of professional Christian musicians who have dedicated themselves to using their talents in service for Christ, will be performing live in Lakeport this month.
The concert will be a 7 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at the Lakeport Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1111 Park Way (the corner of Park and Hill, right off the 29).
Admission is free.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The highlight of the year for the 50-voice Zion Choir comes when they travel from the Bay Area to spend the weekend in Lakeport.
They stay at the Clear Lake Bed and Breakfast enjoying all water activities the lake has to offer on Saturday, May 19, then they perform a free concert on Sunday, May 20, at 5 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel, located at 600 16th St. in Lakeport.
This will be their 11th year performing in Lakeport.
Zion also will perform special musical numbers earlier on Sunday during the 9 a.m. church services.
