LAKEPORT – All are invited to celebrate Christmas Eve with parishioners at St. John’s Church. Parish Priest, Father Leo M. Joseph, O.S.F., will offer Midnight Mass at 10:30 p.m., featuring the singing of traditional carols.

The festively decorated Victorian church is located at 1190 N. Forbes St., Lakeport.

“St. John’s Church is a precious heritage bequeathed to 21st century Lake County,” said Fr. Leo. “This candlelight Midnight Mass is our annual Christmas gift to all people of Lake County.

“Community members can expect to find spiritual nurture; unconditional compassion; and lives transformed at St. John’s,” Fr. Leo said.

St. John’s offers spiritual development; social activities; and community service, especially involving the church’s well-respected thrift shop and food closet ministries. These are open to all interested people, regardless of church affiliation.

KELSEYVILLE – The children’s Sunday School Christmas Program will be presented during the 10 a.m. service on Sunday, Dec. 20, at Galilee Lutheran Church in Kelseyville.

Come and enjoy what the church's children have done. Refreshments will be served after the service.

Sunday school will be held at 9 a.m. for the children. Adult bible study also is at 9 a.m. and repeated at 11:30 a.m. with a continuation of the video “The New Testament” followed by discussion.

The Christmas Eve service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 24. Come and share this Christmas Eve with the Galilee family.

KELSEYVILLE – Kelseyville Presbyterian Church will provide a free Christmas day dinner at the church's Friendship Hall beginning at noon Dec. 25.

Everyone is welcome.

Families or individuals may pick up a meal for takeout if desired. Donations will be accepted.
