LAKEPORT – First Southern Baptist Church of Lakeport is welcoming a new pastor.
On July 1, Pastor Carlos Lara was called to shepherd the church.
A resident of Lake County since 1991, Lara has served his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in children’s ministry, bus ministry, as worship leader, choir director, vacation bible school director and treasurer. He is a gifted Bible teacher and is excited about sharing the gospel in this community and seeing God working through the church.
