The agenda can be found here.

The meeting will be broadcast live on the city's YouTube channel or the Lake County PEGTV YouTube Channel

On Thursday, the council will present proclamations declaring March as both March for Meals Month and National Nutrition Month.

Under council business, staff will present a resolution calling for a ballot measure to change the city treasurer position from elected to appointed.
The council held a discussion on the matter at its last meeting and reached consensus to approve staff bringing the matter back.

The position hasn’t been filled by an elected city treasurer since 2006.

Staff also will update the council on the Robin Lane Sewer Spill Emergency, which began on Jan. 11 when a county-owned and operated force main ruptured.

The council also will get an update on projects and initiatives from PG&E Local Government Affairs representative Jason Taormino and discuss Community Funded Project requests to Congressman Mike Thompson for FY 2027.

On the meeting’s consent agenda — items that are considered routine in nature and usually ad
opted on a single vote — includes warrants; minutes; and authorization of the disposal and sale of surplus police vehicles through a dismantler.

The council also will meet in closed session to discuss a case of anticipated litigation and continued labor negotiations with the Clearlake Police Officers Association.
