Lake County Democratic Central Committee endorses Falkenberg

LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lake County Democratic Central Committee, or LCDCC, has unanimously endorsed Brock Falkenberg for re-election as Lake County superintendent of schools.

Following a comprehensive interview process, the LCDCC Elections Committee expressed strong confidence in Superintendent Falkenberg’s leadership and accomplishments over his 12-year tenure. 

Committee members highlighted his ability to navigate significant challenges, while advancing innovative grant-funded programs that directly benefit students and the broader community.

“Brock has been a steady leader, guiding the county’s school districts through turbulent times, while maintaining a strong focus on student learning and growth,” said Nara Dahlbacka, chair of the LCDCC. “His depth of knowledge and leadership is unmatched. Lake County is fortunate to have such a dedicated and capable professional in this role.”

This endorsement also aligns with the values and support of the California Democratic Party.

The LCDCC encourages voters to support Falkenberg in the June 2, 2026 primary election to ensure continued progress and strong leadership for Lake County schools.
