LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – It’s once again the season to “spring forward.”
Daylight saving time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 8.
Clocks move forward at that time by one hour in order for Pacific Standard Time to move to Pacific Daylight Time.
Daylight saving time will continue until Nov. 1.
Community members are urged to use the time change as a reminder to complete important safety-related tasks around homes and businesses, including changing batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors as well as in NOAA weather radios.
