Lake County Animal Care and Control: A tortoise, a goat and a rooster

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Lake County Animal Care and Control has more than just dogs and cats available for adoption this week.

The agency is offering a tortoise, a goat and a rooster to new homes.

The tortoise is a male weighing just under 12 pounds. He is reported to be 10 years old, and hanging out in the cat room.

“Stewart” is a 2-year-old male goat with a long, reddish brown coat.

The rooster is reported to be three years old, with colorful red and dark-colored feathers.

The shelter is located at 4949 Helbush in Lakeport.
