LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The forecast this week calls for another round of spring rain.

The National Weather Service said an incoming storm system will bring light winds for several days along with rain, beginning with slight drizzle on Sunday night, to be followed on Monday by more than an inch of rain in parts of the county.

Close to another inch of rain is forecast on Tuesday, with the possibility of a thunderstorm before 11 a.m., the National Weather Service said.

Rain is expected to taper off on Wednesday, with conditions to clear from Thursday through Saturday.

Temperatures in the first half of the week will drop into the 50s during the day and high 30s at night, edging up to daytime temperatures in the low 70s and nighttime lows in the 40s by the weekend.
