Sheriff's office warns of rising waters that may impact areas of Hidden Valley Lake
HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – With storm conditions expected to continue, the Lake County Sheriff's Office is urging residents in parts of Hidden Valley Lake residents to be prepared for possible flooding.
Putah Creek is on the rise from the storm system moving through Northern California Tuesday and the same areas that were affected from the storm system on Saturday and Sunday are now under a flood watch, the sheriff's office reported.
In particular, Gold Flat Court and Bear Valley Road at Mountain Meadow South and Oak Flat Road at Mountain Meadow South and North are advised to keep watch of the rising water from Putah Creek, officials said.
The sheriff's office said evacuations may be issued as the creek rises.

Lakeport Police: Martin Street floods again
LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Police Department reported flooding has once again occurred on Martin Street.
The agency said just before 2:30 p.m. that Martin Street had flooded from S. Forbes to Polk Street.
Drivers are urged to use an alternate route and not to drive through the water.
Earlier in the day, the heavy rainfall had caused flooding on Martin Street between Estep and Polk, Lange Street in front of the school district and Hartley at 16th Street, with a portion of Second Street also closed temporarily due to a fallen tree.
All of those previous street issues were resolved by early Sunday afternoon, police said.

Clearlake Police report on road closure and sewage leak; mayor urges residents to stay off the roads
CLEARLAKE, Calif. – The Clearlake Police Department has issued a road closure due to the rain and flooding and reported on a separate sewage leak in another part of the city, and the mayor is asking for residents to use particular caution as the storms continue.
The police department urged community members to avoid the area of Old Highway 53 at J&L Market due to heavy flooding across the roadway.
Police said there are barricade warnings in place, and drivers are asked to use alternative routes.
The agency also told residents to avoid contact with water near the 6800 block of Meadowbrook due to a sewage leak.
Lake County Special Districts was on scene at around 1:30 p.m. and working on the issue, police said.
Police said people should assume water in the area is contaminated. Anyone or anything that comes in contact with the water should be cleaned thoroughly and immediately.
Separately, Mayor Russ Perdock told Lake County News that Clearlake Public Works staff and first responders are out helping as needed and directed in response to the storm and flooding.
“I would simply ask that our residents, neighbors and guests would only go out if absolutely necessary. If an emergency exists and they must drive, please travel slowly and safely,” Perdock said.
He added, “Please be patient and safe until the storm subsides.”

LCSO Advisory: Road closures and advisories issued throughout Lake County

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The Lake County Sheriff's Office has issued road closures or advisories have been issued for the following Lake County areas:
KELSEYVILLE
Adobe Creek crossing: closed due to flooding.
Bell Hill Road: Bell Hill Road is closed at Adobe Creek Low Water Crossing due to water over the roadway.
Marina View Drive: downed tree – unsure to extent of closure at this time
LAKEPORT
Hill Road: Effective immediately Hill Road, between Sutter Lakeside Hospital entrance and Lakeshore Boulevard, is closed to all traffic due to continuing debris flows. There is no estimate at this time as to when the roadway will be reopened.
Lakeshore Blvd: Flooding reported across the roadway near Park Way.
Mathews Road: Mathews Road is closed at Hwy 175 due to a bridge replacement project.
McMahon Road: Tree blocking roadway in both directions
LOWER LAKE
Seigler Canyon Road: flooding across the roadway above Seigler Bridge. Road is currently passible and open but may change at any time.
Perini Road: currently passible, however water is up to the bridge. This may change at any time.
MIDDLETOWN/HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE
Hartmann Road: Closed at the Pro Shop due to flooding.
UPPER LAKE
Elk Mountain Road: Roadway closed at MPM 29.6 due to road washout. No estimate of when road will be reopened.
Scotts Valley Road: Closed from Hendricks Road to Hwy 20 due to flooding.

LCSO: evacuation advisories in Hidden Valley Lake
LAKE COUNTY, Caif. – The Lake County Sheriff's Office has issued a advisory evacutation order for areas of Hidden Valley Lake due to flooding.
Flooding in the areas of Gold Flat Ct @ Mountain Meadow South, Bear Valley Rd @ Mountain Meadow South and Oak Flat Rd @ Mountain Meadow South and North, advisory evacuations have been issued for those areas of Hidden Valley Lake.
An evacuation center has been set up at Twin Pine Casino & Hotel.
Additionally, the LCSO cautions that creeks, streams and some drainages are experiencing increased flow from heavy rainfall. Debris in roadways, including rocks and trees, have been reported throughout Lake County.
It is advised to stay home and stay off roadways. Caltrans, County Roads and work crews are working hard to clear roads of debris. These work crews will be less hindered if motorist stay indoors and refrain from driving.
