Animal Care and Control reports many new adoptions from special event, more waiting dogs

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Lake County Animal Care and Control reported that it found new homes for many pets during a Valentine’s Day free adoption event, but there are still more waiting to meet their new families.

CLEARLAKE, Calif. — The Clearlake Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating a teenager with connections to Clearlake who went missing from another part of the state.

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife, or CDFW, last month completed helicopter capture operations resulting in the satellite collaring of five gray wolves in Northern California.
