LAKE COUNTY – The county's two cities are currently working on finding new leadership for their city halls, with both councils set to discuss the status of their searches next week.

LUCERNE - This month California Water Service plans to begin constructing a new treatment plant and customer service center in Lucerne, where it last year raised rates after a lengthy fight with the town's ratepayers.

SACRAMENTO – The state's first seasonal snow survey shows that water levels in the state's snowpack are below average, but experts say it's still early in the season.
