LAKEPORT, Calif. – Employees from Paratransit Services, operator of Lake Transit, enjoyed visiting with local transit riders at the Lake County Spring Fair in Lakeport, which took place Friday, June 20, through Sunday, June 22.

Visitors to the Lake Transit booth in Lewis Hall could meet with staff and pick up materials about public transportation programs in the county.

“This was just the right timing to share some of the exciting changes that have been implemented at Lake Transit!” said Regional Manager Wanda Gray.

Gray said Lake Transit recently started the evening “Nite Rider” Dial-A-Ride services in Lakeport, which runs Monday through Friday from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

Evening services in Clearlake also have been expanded, with more hours for the  Dial-A-Ride service, and additional runs for Route 5, with the last bus departing Ray's Food Place at 10:15 p.m., Gray said.
