COBB, Calif. – Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 12, contract forces will start work on the FEMA FMAG Culvert Replacement No. 1 and No. 2 Project, Bid No. 19-01, in the Cobb Mountain area.
This project will upside or improve 29 culverts in the Valley fire burn area, and consists of removing and/or upgrading existing culverts and end treatments, minor grading of existing drainage ditches, erosion control, and site paving to replace removed HMA surfacing.
Work will be Mondays through Fridays, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., holidays excluded.
Work will continue through March 25, 2020.
During working hours, single lane controlled traffic with a maximum delay of 15 minutes is expected.
Roadways impacted by this project include Harbin Springs Road, Harbin Annex, Anderson Springs Road, Rose Anderson Road, Hot Springs Road, Big Canyon Road, Ettawa Springs Road, Castlewood Road, Maple Shadows Drive, Ford Flat Road, Ford Flat Road, Seigler Canyon Road, Hoberg Road, Harrington Flat Road and Gifford Springs Road.
Do to the size and scope of this project, we will put out weekly schedules to keep the public informed of when and where work is being done.
