Marcus J. Mueck
1951-2020
LAKEPORT, Calif. – Beloved husband, father, grandpa and brother, Marcus J. Mueck of Lakeport passed away on March 22, 2020.
Marc was born on Aug. 6, 1951, to (predeceased) parents Doris (Nicholson) and John Mueck in Santa Rosa, California, and is survived by his wife, Lynn Mueck; daughter, Suzanne Sadler; son, Marcus R. Mueck; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Mueck; grandchildren, Tristan and Trevor; brothers, Mitchell, Michael, Mathew and Marshall; numerous nieces and nephews; and is predeceased by son-in-law, John Sadler, and sister, Mary.
Marc worked most of his life in the construction industry with his brothers, Mitchell and Michael, building houses, pouring concrete, heavy equipment operation and job foreman in California, Texas and Oklahoma.
He enjoyed road trips, playing video games with friends online and all things milk chocolate. He enjoyed spending time at home, a farmer at heart, always planting fruit trees and a vegetable garden in the backyard.
His wit, honesty and deep care for his family will be greatly missed and we look forward to meeting him again in eternity.
During this chaotic time, the family is unable to hold a public memorial service. They will plan a celebration of life memorial at a later date to be announced.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Josephine Paula Volpe passed away peacefully at the age of 82 surrounded by her loving family.
Josephine was born in Brooklyn, New York, to James and Josephine Macagnone. She was one of four sisters, Roseanne, Josephine, Annette and Diane. She graduated from Prospect Heights High School and studied fashion design in Manhattan.
In 1955, she married the love of her life, Frank Volpe, whom she met at 16. They were married over 60 years, until Frank’s death in 2015.
In 1973, Josephine and Frank moved their family from Long Island, New York to San Jose, California. Josephine worked as a buyer for a tech company in the Silicon Valley until 1983 when they moved to Half Moon Bay, California. Together, they ran their own company, Volpe and Sons Construction, building and renovating beautiful homes in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Retirement was good to Josephine, as she spent it with her husband Frank in Lakeport. They lived their dream on the lake, boating, visiting and making memories with their growing family, their four children, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Josephine was a phenomenal seamstress, able to design clothes by altering patterns. She was also a fantastic cook and loved to garden, growing many of her own vegetables.
Josephine follows her husband, Frank, and daughter, Lisa, into God’s Heaven. She is survived by her children, daughter, Valerie and husband Harold, son, Michael and wife Kim, son, Frank and wife Paula and son-in-law Harold; her grandchildren, Shanon and wife Roberta, Paula and husband Johnny, Michelle, Lara, Paul, Ana, Monica, Sally, Cristina and Derek; her great-grandchildren, Brieana, Noah, Tyler, Jacob, Sophia, Phoenix, Dylan and Mila; and her great-great-grandchild, Dawson.
Josephine also leaves behind her loving family in Long Island, New York; her sister, Annette and husband, Biaggio and her sister, Diane and husband Robert, as well as nieces and nephews, Alicia, Andrea, Robert and Melissa and great-nieces and nephews, Ashley, Analese, Lori, Alec and Daniel.
Josephine will be missed but never forgotten. Her love will live on forever in those she loved.

Twila Elizabeth Mason Asire
KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – Twila was born Oct. 22, 1920, in West Carlisle, Ohio, to Sherman and Laura (Remele) Mason and passed away at age 99 on March 23, 2020.
She graduated from Pike Township High School in West Carlisle in 1939.
She was given in marriage to James Albert Asire on Nov. 16, 1940, in Warsaw, Ohio and they celebrated 71 years together before he preceded her in death.
They were the parents of two daughters, Rosanna Jean and Carolyn Jane, who gave them six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by Rosanna Fouts and Carolyn Messick.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kelseyville for many years and willingly shared her talent and love of music with her church and friends.
A memorial service will be planned in the near future at First Baptist Church of Kelseyville.
