CLEARLAKE OAKS, Calif. – Nola Mae Morrell, 95, of Clearlake Oaks passed away Sept. 21, 2019, at her home in Long Valley with her daughters by her side.
Nola was born in Los Angeles and moved to Lake County with her family in 1930.
She graduated from Lower Lake High School and married her high school sweetheart. They had two daughters, Cheryl and Vicki.
They settled in Kelseyville in 1952. She worked at the Kelseyville Pharmacy for many years and then owned and operated a clothing store in Kelseyville. After selling the store, they retired to Long Valley.
Nola was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Thora Bernier and Betty Noble; brother, Rolleigh Marr; and husband, Robert Morrell.
Survivors include daughters, Cheryl Craddick and Vicki (Palmer) Morrell; grandson, Shawn Palmer; granddaughters, Kristi Sundberg (Calib) and Tami Flyntz (Ed); great-granddaughter, Kelly Palmer; great-grandsons, Aiden Sundberg, Joseph Flyntz (Emily) and Matthew Flyntz (Heather); and great-great grandson Bennett Flyntz.
A graveside service will take place Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. at Lower Lake Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow at her daughter's in Long Valley.

MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – Jerry Gaiser passed away at his home in Middletown on Aug. 25, 2019.
Jerry and his wife Marie moved to Middletown from Bigfork, Montana, in 2004.
His hobbies included snow skiing, well into his 88th year of life, woodworking, fly fishing and enjoying time at his family cabin over 82 seasons.
The legacy that he leaves is a big happy family who love and appreciate each other, the outdoors and wild spaces.
He did not wish to have a funeral. The family will gather to celebrate and honor his life with thankfulness, gratitude, respect and love.

Vida Irene Christensen was born Dec. 21, 1940, to Isaac and Irene Goertzen in Madrid, Nebraska.
She went to be with the Lord on Sept. 27, 2019, at the age of 78 in Napa, California.
She was survived by her two siblings, Marcella (Arman) and Charles (Gloria); her three sons, Kevin (Tonya), James (Paula) and Eric; grandchildren, Nicole, Kraig, Shane, Troy, Jessica, Hannah, Alyssa, McKenna and Mattison. Vida also had many others who were welcomed into her home and life as adopted sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Vi loved her family, her church, reading, cooking, tending to her rose gardens, nursing and Elvis Presley. Above all she loved her sweetheart Paul. Their love was an example for all that witnessed it. Her heart ached to be with him.
Vi lived a generous life. She always had a smile, a laugh, a hug, a warm plate of food or even a kick in the butt, whichever you might need. There were no strangers in her life, only people that she hadn’t loved yet.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Issac and Irene; husband, Paul; brothers, Alwin and David; sister, Deloris; and granddaughter, Amanda.
A memorial service will be held at Grace Evangelical Free Church of Kelseyville on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 1 p.m.
