The proceeds from this event go to the hospital’s Lakeside Wellness Foundation, which supports the Sutter Wellness Center and community health improvement initiatives and programs.
Pulse! is an “Festa Italiano” (Italian themed party) intended to have the festive feel of an impromptu gathering at a Tuscan village square at harvest time. The event will feature a crowd-pleasing, high-energy community fashion show, live auction and “dream raffle,” plated lunch and dance.
Attendees will Magniare (eat) delizioso antipasto and sip complimentary champagne apertivo while strolling through the rustic piazza filled with local merchants, music and dazzling raffle items.
A sit-down, authentic country-Italian prazno (lunch) will be followed by a fast paced live auction. The highlight is the community fashion show featuring many of Lake County’s young and not-so-young men, women (and children) from business and community leadership, law enforcement, public service and of course, health care. Confirmed model groups to date include the Kelseyville Fire Department and Lakeport Police Department.
The crowd will be on their feet; the music will be “Pulsing,” the room; rocking, and the models will be strutting hot, creative and fun fashions from formal, to vintage, to outdoor wear. You never know what to expect from a bunch average Joes and Jills under the spotlight and in front of an enthusiastic crowd of friends, family and fellow community members!”
Sutter Lakeside Hospital through the Lakeside Wellness Foundation provides accessible, free and low-cost fitness and health programs and vital health services to Lake County’s most disadvantaged and vulnerable seniors, children and families.
Through foundation funding Sutter Lakeside Hospital has been able to accomplish the following:

Introduced an annual health and wellness event; available to all community members. In 2009, this event will introduce the new Mobile Health Services Unit and a healthy children’s activity component.
Opened the Integrative Healing House, where community members have access to a menu of services such as hypnotherapy, biofeedback, naturopathy, wellness coaching, massage and acupressure, among others.
Developed and offer a comprehensive employee wellness program that focuses on stress reduction and healthy living for area employers.
Designed and installed beautiful walking trails, a children’s play area and healing gardens throughout the Sutter Lakeside campus.
Sutter Lakeside encourages community members to consider helping to make the event a success in any of the following ways:
