NORTHERN CALIFORNIA – Dr. Thomas Coon, founder of the Coon Joint Replacement Institute (CJRI) at St. Helena Hospital, is pleased to welcome Dr. Ryan E. Moore to the surgical team.
Dr. Moore graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, earning a doctor of medicine degree and a PhD in cell and molecular biology.
He was honored with the “Outstanding Graduating Student in Orthopedic Surgery” award.
Dr. Moore completed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and went on to complete a fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstructive surgery at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, and a fellowship in minimally invasive knee and hip joint replacement surgery at the Coon Joint Replacement Institute.
“We are pleased to have Dr. Moore join our team,” said Dr. Coon. “Dr. Moore’s advanced training and experience makes him an important addition to our institute. He trained with me and Dr. John Diana for 3 months, becoming knowledgeable in the minimally invasive techniques.”
The CJRI orthopedic team specializes in minimally invasive knee and hip joint replacement surgery, resulting in less pain and faster recovery for the patient.
