NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California will hold a public hearing on application MUP 13-19 proposing a minor use permit for a small winery and incidental wine tasting room.
The project applicant is Kristi R. Wells.
The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 13-18.
The project is located at 10111 Bottle Rock Road, Kelseyville, APN 011-057-161.
The proposed mitigated negative declaration will be available for review at the Community Development Department (Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA) 20 days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.

The University of California McLaughlin Reserve Invites Public Comments on its OHV Grant Application for Restoration and Research at the Knoxville Recreation Area
The University of California McLaughlin Reserve is inviting public comments on its draft grant application to the State of California’s Off-Highway Motorized Vehicle Recreation Division (OHVMRD).
The McLaughlin Reserve, in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management Ukiah Field Office, the Blue Ridge-Berryessa Partnership, the East Lake Resource Conservation District, and the Natural Resources Conservation Service, is proposing to restore areas within BLM’s Knoxville Recreation Area in Lake and Napa Counties that are currently closed to Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) access, but have been damaged by past or present OHV use.
The three-year project will focus on weed control, planting native vegetation, and OHV barrier enhancement in sensitive habitats such as riparian corridors and serpentine grasslands.
The preliminary application will be available on the OHMVRD’s Web site at http://www.ohv.parks.ca.gov/ for review and comment from Tuesday, March 4, 2014 through Monday, April 7, 2014.
The division’s Web site will provide detailed instructions for accessing the preliminary application and submitting comments.
Please note that comments must be submitted via email to both the OHMVRD and the University of California McLaughlin Reserve.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED MINOR USE PERMIT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Zoning Administrator will consider approving MINOR USE PERMIT 13-28 of William Thacher in accordance with Lake County Code to allow a collector’s permit for a 50-foot x 60-foot shop which will exceed the accessory height limitation of 20 feet for a total structure height of 22 and one-half feet.

Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on March 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Courthouse.
