SUMMARY OF ADOPTED ORDINANCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, State of California, has adopted Ordinance No. 3007, amending Article I Of Chapter 6 of the Lake County Code relating to the Emergency Organization and Functions.

This ordinance will update the staff assigned to the Office of Emergency Services, specifically changing the Emergency Services Coordinator to Emergency Services Manager, and correct some minor grammar and formatting within the text. No substantive changes are being made to the Emergency Organization and Functions other than the updates to staff title, and minor grammar and formatting corrections.

This ordinance was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, by the following vote:

AYES: Supervisors Comstock, Smith, Brown and Rushing
NOES: None
ABSENT OR NOT VOTING: Supervisor Farrington

This ordinance will take effect on June 19th, 2014.

Lake County Public Works: Replacement of existing bridge over Anderson Creek at Foard Road

NOTICE OF PROPOSED MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION AND PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing for the replacement of the existing bridge over Anderson Creek at Foard Road.  

The project applicant is the Lake County Public Works Department.  

The Planning Commission will consider approval of General Plan Conformity Report GPC 11-22 and adoption of a mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 11–26.  

The project site is located approximately 0.35 miles southeast of State Highway 175, approximately 4 miles northwest of Middletown, in the vicinity of APNs 050-471-08, 050-471-09, 050-471-10, and 050-471-15.  

The proposed mitigated negative declaration and all documents referenced in the proposed mitigated negative declaration are available for review at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA thirty (30) days before the hearing and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.

The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on June 26, 2014 at 9:05 AM, at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.  

If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.

Ordinance No. 3005: Relating to operation of bicycles, skateboards, scooters and skates on county property

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF LAKE
SUMMARY OF ADOPTED ORDINANCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, State of California, has adopted Ordinance No. 3005, amending Article VI Of Chapter Fifteen of the Lake County Code restricting the operation of bicycles, skateboards, scooters, roller skates, in-line skates, and/or roller blades on County property.

This ordinance clarifies the locations which are protected from the above-described activity, provides an enforcement mechanism and describes allowed activities.

This ordinance was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, by the following vote:

YES: Supervisors Smith, Brown and Rushing
NOES: None
ABSENT OR NOT VOTING: Supervisors Comstock and Farrington

This ordinance will take effect on June 5, 2014.
