Social hour will start at 6 p.m. and a four course dinner will be served with wine at 7 p.m.
A highlight of the dinner is the sale of original works of art by Lake County artists who have donated to the Land Trust.
Services, food, and wine are graciously donated by the Saw Shop Gallery Bistro with the proceeds going towards the work of the Land Trust. Many thanks to Marie Beery, owner, for this generous donation.
Reservations are required and can be made by calling the Saw Shop at 278-0129. Payment is taken the evening of the event. Tickets are $60 per person.

LAKEPORT – It’s been one of her dreams to sing the national anthem at a sporting event. On Saturday, May 8, Makenna Rose Enger is going to have her wish come true and sing the national anthem.
But that’s not all; Lakeport Speedway is going to have her sing the national anthem right before the main event in front of the Airport Auto Brokers Late Models. So mark you calendar so we can make this a memory she will never forget.
Makenna Enger was introduced to Lakeport Speedway through the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Rob and Joss in the morning on Froggy 92.9. If you would like know more about Makenna Enger’s disability, visit Caring Bridge and read her story http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/MakennaRose .

Lakeport Speedway is honored to have this beautiful angel singing the National Anthem
They will have the Speedway Scratchers available at the track on Saturday for a $2 donation each and the proceeds go to the Make a Wish Foundation. You could win a season pass for the grandstands, free tickets to the grandstand, free coke, 10 percent off souvenirs and much more.
The Lakeport Speedway is located at the Lake County Fairgrounds at 401 Martin St.

HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE – The HVL Men's Niners Golf Club held its annual five club tournament on April 22.
The results were as follows:
First flight – Joe Whitbeck scored a net 35 for the win, Dennis Bero came in second with 36, and Dave Mann and Kevin Martin tied for third at 37.
Second flight – Randy Brown and Bill Surber tied for first with 35, John Jones was third at 36.
Third flight – Bill Ferris posted the lowest net of the day 33, while Don Dornbush and Jay Hodges tied with 37.
Fourth flight – Gary Pickrell won the flight with 34, and Mason Butler had 35 and Mill Garrett 37.
Closest to the par 3 pin was Dennis Bero.
Chip-ins were scored by Wayne Baker, Jim Hodges, and Bill Ferris.
Forty-eight men participated this event.
