LAKEPORT, Calif. — The Lakeport Community SDA Church will present a concert featuring the Ukrainian Ensemble on Saturday, Dec. 13.
The group, from the Sacramento area, will perform a Christmas program at 11 a.m. Sabbath worship service.
The ensemble is composed of 30 to 35 members.
The church will take up a love offering for them following the program.
There also will be a vegetarian potluck following the concert.
Please come out and be blessed by their music.

LAKEPORT, Calif. — The Lakeport Community SDA Church is excited to host “Living Life In God's Power," presented by Olaf and Jayne Betat of God's Healing Way Ministries.
This is a three-part series that will take place Saturday, Aug. 30, at the church located at 1111 Park Way, Lakeport (the Park/Hill exit on Highway 29).
The first session will be at 9:50 a.m., “When the Son Makes You Free, You Are Free Indeed.”
The second at 11 a.m. is titled, “Power of God Creates Uncommon Living,” and the final one at 2 p.m. is “Three Daily Steps and Your Life Is Changed Forever.”
There will be a vegetarian potluck served between the second and third sessions.

CLEARLAKE, Calif. — Praises of Zion Baptist Church in Clearlake announces their free Vacation Bible School from Wednesday, July 16, through Friday, July 18.
This year’s Vacation Bible School, or VBS, theme is “Road Trip.”
Join them as they travel with God and Jesus through the road of life.
It is for children in kindergarten through eighth grade.
The day starts at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast and time to get to know one another.
The program is full of music, Bible stories and videos, recreation, crafts, lunch, snacks and fun.
The day ends at 3 p.m.
Children will be divided by age group for certain activities. There is a good staff to child ratio for the safety of the children.
Children that attend all three days of the “Road Trip” Vacation Bible School will be treated to a Family Fun Night at Tatonka Land Mini Golf in Clearlake on Saturday, July 26, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Families will enjoy a night of mini golf, pizza, and drinks to celebrate the fellowship the children found in VBS.
This event is exclusive to the families of those who attended VBS at Praises of Zion.
Every child that attends must fill out an application. All of the VBS staff are members of Praises of Zion Baptist Church and have been cleared through various background checks to work with children and adults.
Praises of Zion Church is located at 3890 Emile Ave. in Clearlake.

LUCERNE, Calif. — Saturday Mass is resuming at Queen of the Rosary Catholic Church in Lucerne.
Services will take place at 4 p.m. Saturdays beginning on June 7.
All are invited to attend.
