CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Community members are invited to an upcoming forum to learn more about the expansion of a Clearlake facility that addresses homelessness.
The forum will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, at the Hope Center, 3400 Emerson St. in Clearlake.
Last week, Adventist Health Clear Lake announced that it has received $6.3 million in PATH CITED 2 funding from the California Department of Health Care Services to expand the Hope Center.
The center is part of an initiative to address homelessness through coordinated health care, housing navigation and supportive services.
The expansion will include construction of space for 29 additional beds, increasing capacity to 50 beds, and will include relocating Restoration House from Lower Lake to the Hope Center campus.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear about the expansion plans, ask questions and provide feedback.
