The boutique was held in the Greenview Room on Sunday, Dec. 6, and over $263 was collected from booth fees and personal donations. These funds will be used to help support the HVLA Fireworks Show held every year.
In addition to the boutique, many of those participating satisfied their food and beverage needs in the Greenview Restaurant and Mulligan’s Lounge to round out their day of gift shopping.
We would also like to thank Mike Zuech, HVLA food and beverage manager, and the restaurant staff for making the Greenview Room available and helping with the Boutique. Thanks also to the HVLA staff and Loralee Anderson for publishing this event in the HVLA View. Many thanks also to the Times Star, The Valley Magazine, the Record-Bee, the South County News, Lake County News and Connie Stufloten, events coordinator for HVL for all the wonderful advertising of our event. You all were great!
A special thank you to the Christmas craft boutique vendors who worked so hard: Joan Worster, Joan Poucher, Bette Fowler, Janet Gill, Twila Brammeir, Debbie Vivette, Sharon Hughes, Rose Marie Bero, Haejin Han, Gretchen McDonald, Carol Brossier, Lola Duensing, Rashelle Peter, Elizabeth Hoffman, Pam Gordon, Laurel Ryan and Pat Hallman. Their crafts were homemade, creative and displayed beautifully.
We look forward to seeing everyone again next year and thanks again for coming!
Pat Hallman and Joan Worster are co-chairs of the HVL Christmas Craft Boutique.

Members of the Clear Lake Trowel and Trellis Garden Club would like to thank our community for supporting our garden club by purchasing handmade fresh greenery wreaths.
The first week in December our club spends three days making fresh greenery wreaths. With the profits we support our local high school students by giving two $1,000 scholarships.
This year we also wanted to honor our military by placing wreaths on the Blue Star Memorial and the Vietnam Memorial by the Veterans Building and also in Library Park on the World War II Memorial.
Claire Grieve is the Clear Lake Trowel and Trellis Garden Club's publicity chair. She lives in Lakeport.
