CITY OF UKIAH
Notice of Public Hearing for Consideration of Proposed Amendment to the Ukiah Municipal Code Adding Section 9004 to Division 9, Chapter 2, Article 1 to Require Compliance with the Ukiah Municipal Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Ukiah City Council will consider introduction and possible adoption of an Ordinance amending the Ukiah Municipal Code to add Section 9004 to Division 9, Article 1, requiring compliance with the Ukiah Municipal Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (UKIALUCP) approved by the Mendocino County Airport Land Use Commission on May 20, 2021.
PROJECT IMPACTS: The City of Ukiah (Responsible Agency), is relying on the Initial Study and Negative Declaration adopted by the Lead Agency, Mendocino County Airport Land Use Commission (ALUC).
PUBLIC HEARING DATE/TIME: Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 6:15 p.m. or soon thereafter.
LOCATION: This meeting will take place via teleconference. The call-in number and access code will be included on the agenda posted to the City website, www.CityofUkiah.com/meetings/ and at the Civic Center Agenda Board no less than 72 hours prior to the meeting.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN: The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider all public testimony and consider introducing the Ordinance adding Section 9004 to the Ukiah Municipal Code to require compliance with the Ukiah Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (UKIALUCP). All interested parties may comment on the project. Pertinent documents are available for review online 72 hours prior to the hearing at http://www.cityofukiah.com/meetings/.
