NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN, that the County of Lake Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 9:05 a.m., or soon thereafter, in the Lake County Board of Supervisors Chambers, located on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA for consideration of a proposed Major Use Permit (UP 22-23), and Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS 22-42), for commercial cannabis cultivation including 40,500 sf of outdoor light-deprivation cannabis canopy inside fifteen greenhouses and a Type 13 Cannabis Distributor Transport Only, Self-distribution License for cannabis transportation; Applicant: Avetis Manjikian and Mavs Group; Location: 17900 Cantwell Ranch Road, Lower Lake (APN 049-290-01).

The hearing will take place both in-person and via Zoom. The Agenda, Zoom information, staff report, and attachments will be posted online a minimum of 72 hours prior to the hearing on the County’s website at: https://countyoflake.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Lake Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing to consider an appeal of the January 11, 2024, Planning Commission denial of (UP 20-40), as described below, on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the Lake County Board of Supervisors Chambers, located on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California 95453.

to Discuss Community Development Block Grant Program Income Application


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday March 12, at 9:30 a.m. in the Board Chambers, Court house, Lakeport, to consider approval by resolution the submittal of a funding application for Community Development Block Grant Program Income Funds in the amount of $372,232. The funds will be used to continue the County CDBG Microenterprise Technical Assistance program for a period of three years. Projects and programs under this funding source must benefit low and moderate-income households.

The Board Chambers is handicapped accessible. If special accommodation is required because of a sensory or mobility impairment or disability, or if an interpreter is needed, please contact Stephen L. Carter, Jr. at 707-263-2580 to arrange for those accommodations. The County promotes fair housing and makes all programs available to low and moderate-income families regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual preference, marital status, or handicap.
