FOR CONSIDERATION OF AN APPEAL OF PLANNING COMMISSION DENIAL OF A COMMERCIAL CANNABIS RELATED USE PERMIT (UP 20-40)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Lake Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing to consider an appeal of the January 11, 2024, Planning Commission denial of (UP 20-40), as described below, on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the Lake County Board of Supervisors Chambers, located on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California 95453.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, State of California, has set TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2024, at 11:00 A.M., in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, as the time and place for conducting a PUBLIC HEARING regarding the proposed purchase of property located at 16540 State Highway 175, Cobb, CA 95426 currently owned by Robert Vardanega and Meina Xu, Co-Trustees of the Robert Vardanega Revocable Trust dated June 6, 2016. Certified copies of the proposed purchase agreement are available at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, 255 North Forbes Street, Room 109, Lakeport, CA 95453.

Lakeport Fire Protection District: Public hearing on mitigation fees

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE


The Board of Directors of the Lakeport Fire Protection District engaged Ridgeline Municipal Strategies to perform a study to determine what the District should charge for mitigation fees.

The study, along with associated documents, will be made available to the public for inspection between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at 445 N. Main St., Lakeport, CA 95453 beginning on Dec. 30, 2023.

The documents will also be published on the district’s website at www.lakeportfire.com.

The board will hold a public hearing at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024, for constituents to provide input on the mitigation fee study and proposed changes.

The hearing, followed by the regular monthly’ board meeting, will be held at the Lakeport Fire Protection District, 445 N. Main St., Lakeport, CA 95453.

Any person may appear and be heard during the public comment section of the public hearing.
