Verizon Wireless: Major use permit for 120-foot-tall monopole

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application UP 11-10 proposing a Major Use Permit to construct a new one hundred and twenty foot tall monopole for the installation of nine six foot tall panel type antennae, one microwave dish and two GPS antennae that will be attached to an equipment shelter.

A backup diesel powered generator for electrical power is proposed to be installed as well. The project is located at 20095 State Highway 175 Middletown, CA, APN 013-011-35.

The project applicant is Verizon Wireless.

The proposed mitigated negative declaration, initial study and all documents referenced in the proposed mitigated negative declaration are available for review at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.

The review period during which the Community Development Department will receive comments on the proposed mitigated negative declaration will start on April 4, 2012 and end on April 26, 2012.

The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on April 26, 2012 at 9:05 a.m., at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.

If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, State of California, has set TUESDAY, APRIL 3, 2012, at 10:30 a.m., in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, as the time and place for conducting a PUBLIC HEARING regarding a proposed Ordinance amending Article 1 Section 5-f.2 of Chapter 5 of the Lake County Code relating to the sale, use and display of fireworks in the unincorporated area of the County of Lake. Copies of the proposed Ordinance are available at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, 255 North Forbes Street, Room 109, Lakeport, CA 95453.

This ordinance will add the requirement of notification of residents within a five mile radius of a planned fireworks display ten days prior to the event, through placement of posters at three public places.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that at said time and place any interested person may appear and be heard.

Loch Lomond Subdivisions: Mitigated negative declaration for water main

NOTICE OF PROPOSED MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Zoning Administrator will consider adopting a mitigated negative declaration for installation of approximately 10,000 feet of water main within public road right-of-way of Loch Lomond Subdivisions I and II, based on Initial Study IS 11–23.  

The project applicant is the Loch Lomond Mutual Water Company.  

The project is located in Loch Lomond Subdivisions I and II and APN 050-581-45.  

The Zoning Administrator will approve this project with no public hearing if no written request for a public hearing is submitted by 5:00 P.M., April 6, 2012 to the Community Development Department, Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport, California.  

The proposed mitigated negative declaration, initial study and all documents referenced in the proposed mitigated negative declaration are available for review at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA.  

Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on April 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Courthouse at 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA.
