Lakeport Christian Center to hold weekly series on relationships and love

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Lakeport Christian Center announces a new special series to take place on Sundays at 6 p.m.

Beginning Aug. 11, “The Five Languages of Love” is based on Gary Chapman's book of the same name.

The series is open to everyone – married, single, younger, more mature in age.

The five languages of love are inclusive of everyone, and it's free.

For married folks, how many have said, “My spouse doesn't hear me?” This series is for you, too.

The facilitator will be Rev. Jim Van Valkenburg who serves on the Lakeport Christian Center pastoral staff.

Lakeport Christian Center is located near the fairgrounds at 455 S. Forbes St.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Come out and witness a spontaneous water baptism on Sunday, July 14, at 10:30 a.m. at Lakeport Christian Center.

Have you not been baptized by immersion? This is your opportunity.

Church presents Nintendo to contest winner

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Pastor Mike Suski presented a brand new handheld Nintendo to winner Darlene Morehouse at Lakeport Christian Center on Sunday, June 16, during the Father's Day service.

Morehouse was awarded the Nintendo for bringing the most new people to church through a contest that was ongoing over the previous several weeks.   

After being awarded with the Nintendo, Morehouse donated it back to the church for the children's ministry department.

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Lakeport Christian Center (LCC) announces a spectacular summer boy's program and fun.

Come on out and register and meet your Royal Ranger leader, Jerry Morehouse, on Wednesday, July 10, at 6:45 p.m. in Classroom B1 of LCC's educational facility on 455 S. Forbes St. in Lakeport.  

All the fathers and boys are welcome to watch the introductory video and enjoy prizes.
