MHSA Annual Update for
Fiscal Year 2025-2026
To all interested stakeholders, Lake County Behavioral Health Services, in accordance with the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA), is publishing this Notice of 30-Day Public Comment Period and Notice of Public Hearing regarding the above-entitled document.
I. The public review and comment period begins Tuesday, May 6, 2025 and ends at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Interested persons may provide written comments during this public comment period. II. A Public Hearing will be held by the Lake County Behavioral Health Services Advisory Board on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 10:00am – 12:00pm for the purpose of receiving further public comment on the MHSA Annual Update for Fiscal Year 2025-2026. The meeting will offer attendance in-person at the peer support centers (see addresses below) and be held virtually on the Zoom web-based meeting platform. Attendees will have the option to join the public hearing via the meeting URL link, or dial into the meeting by phone. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Commission of First 5 Lake County, State of California, will hold a public hearing to take testimony and accept comments on: 1) First 5 California Commission’s 2023-24 Annual Report, 2) First 5 Lake County’s 2024-2029 Strategic Plan, and 3) First 5 Lake County’s Long Range Financial Plan 2024-2029; and following the Public Hearings, the Commission shall conditionally accept all items as presented.All documents to be presented at the public hearing, and information about joining the meeting can be found on the Commission’s website at www.firstfivelake.org and copies will be made available upon request at the First 5 Lake office at 1173 Eleventh St. in Lakeport.
