NOTICE OF PROPOSED MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION AND PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing for the construction of sidewalks, bike lanes, street lighting, and other safety improvements to the pedestrian and bicycle facilities along Foothill Blvd and State Highway 20 through Clearlake Oaks. 

The project applicant is the Lake County Public Works Department. 

The Planning Commission will consider approval of General Plan Conformity Report GPC 10-03 and adoption of a mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 12–05. 

The project site is located in the State Highway 20 and Foothill Blvd right-of-way in Clearlake Oaks, in the vicinity of various APNs. 

The proposed mitigated negative declaration and all documents referenced in the proposed mitigated negative declaration are available for review at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.

The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on March 10, 2016 at 9:20 AM, at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED MINOR USE PERMIT


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Zoning Administrator will consider approving MINOR USE PERMIT 15-19 of Jules Stout, in accordance with Lake County Code, to allow the establishment of a large family child care facility for up to 14 children located at 9310 Hoberg Drive, Cobb, APN 051-171-01.

This project was found to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per Statutory Exemption § 15274(a) Family Day Care Homes, which exempts the establishment or operation of a large family day care home.

Should a timely request for a public hearing be filed, one will be held on February 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Courthouse.

Harbor View Mutual Water Co.: Use permit modifications for intertie

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application MMU 15-05 proposing modifications to Use Permit UP 13-07 to allow an emergency intertie between Harbor View Mutual and Buckingham Water District.

The project applicant is Harbor View Mutual Water Co.

The Planning Commission will reconsider the previously approved adopted mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 13-21. 

The project is located at 8520 Soda Bay Road, Kelseyville, CA, and further described as APN 044-340-41. 

The mitigated negative declaration will be available for review at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California, thirty (30) days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing. 

The review period during which the Community Development Department will receive comments on the proposed mitigated negative declaration will start on January 23, 2016 and end at the hearing on February 25, 2016.
