NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake will hold a public hearing on the Bonavita Estates Merger Resubdivision (MRS 08-02), proposing to merge and resubdivide 2 parcels totaling 534 acres into 5 parcels, a Deviation (DV 08-02) to construct a dead-end road longer than 1000 feet and Use Permit (UP 05-20) for construction of an 11-acre ski lake and hosting of special events. The project applicants are KURT STEIL & GARY JOHNSON. The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project based on Initial Study (IS 08-08). The project is located at 16756 & 17350 Butts Canyon Road, Middletown and further described as APNs 014-003-83 & 014-140-05. The proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration will be available for review thirty (30) days and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing at the Planning Division of the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California. The public hearing will be held before the Planning Commission in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on September 11, 2008 at 9:20 AM, at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard. If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Community Development Director will consider adopting a mitigated negative declaration and approving a minor use permit (MUP 08-18) based on Initial Study 08-16 for PHIL OWNBEY in accordance with Chapter 21 of the Lake County Zoning Ordinance to allow a small winery with an annual maximum production of 10,000 cases of wine.
