NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Community Development Director will consider adopting a mitigated negative declaration and approving a minor use permit (MUP 07- 42) based on Initial Study 07-59, for the applicant CHUCK FOSTER/ HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE ASSOCIATION in accordance with Chapter 21 of the Lake County Zoning Ordinance to allow the construction of a 48 foot long bridge, a 75 foot causeway and a walking trail. The property is located at, 17447 Deer Hill Road, Hidden Valley Lakes, CA and further described as APN 142-301-01. NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the Community Development Director will approve this MINOR USE PERMIT with no public hearing if no written request for a public hearing is submitted to the Planning Division of the Community Development Department by 4:00 P.M., November 2, 2007. Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on November 7, at 2:00 P.M in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport, CA.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on RZ 07-07, proposing a rezone from “R2” to “R1” required as a condition of an approved Tentative Parcel Map (PM 06-11). The project applicants are Niels Holgerson and Charlotte Baylor. The Planning Commission will reconsider the previously adopted Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 06-42. The project is located at 5555 Live Oak Drive, Kelseyville, CA and further described as APN 008-710-45. The previously adopted Mitigated Negative Declaration is available for review in the Planning Division of the Community Development Department at the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California. The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on November 8, 2007 at 9:30 a.m., at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard. The County of Lake Redevelopment Agency is considering utilizing Redevelopment Agency Housing Account #1567 funds to undertake a project known as Eskaton Clearlake (Oaks) Manor Land Acquisition, for the purpose of acquisition of one parcel at 75 Lake Street, Clearlake Oaks (Assessors Parcel Number 035-231-49) to be developed with up to 23 senior housing units utilizing HUD 202 Program Funds and State Home Funds. This project is par tially located within the X (0.2% annual chance) flood zone identified on the Federal Insurance Rate Map, Panel No. 06033C0543D dated September 30, 2005. The Lake County Community Development Department is conducting an environmental review to determine if there are any practical alternatives to locating the project partially within the flood zone, and to identify potential adverse impacts that may result from this project, as well as mitigation measures that may be necessary. Written comments regarding this issue should be submitted within 15 days of publication in order to be considered in the decision process.
