NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on an Appeal to the Board of Supervisors (AB 13-02) of the Planning Commission’s decision to deny the Major Use Permit (UP 12-04); and to deny Minor Use Permit (MUP 12-22) to allow reduction in “WW” (Waterway Combining District) rear yard setback requirements.

The appellant is Andrzej Skwira.  

The site is located at 16235 Roberts Road, Middletown, CA and further described as APN 013-054-07.

The staff report will be available at the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA, ten (10) days before the hearing.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED MINOR USE PERMIT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Zoning Administrator will consider approving MINOR USE PERMIT 13-12 of Chic Beck in accordance with Lake County Code to allow the establishment of a used car sales lot for a maximum of ten cars at any one time along with minor auto repairs limited to vehicles being offered for sale located at 2598 #B South Main Street, Lakeport, APN 008-001-01.

Should a timely request for a public hearing be filed, one will be held on August 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room C, 3rd floor of the Courthouse.

SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 2990
                                                                                                                   

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, State of California, adopted Ordinance No. 2990, establishing County of Lake Health Services as a member of the existing Partnership HealthPlan of California Commission.

The Partnership HealthPlan of California Commission is a multi-county commission which has created a managed health care plan for Medi-Cal recipients. The Commission links each member with a primary care provider and has been successful in reducing inappropriate use of emergency rooms, providing appropriate levels of inpatient care for its members, developing innovative case management programs and arranging for the provision of an enhanced level of local health care services.

This ordinance was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, by the following vote:

AYES: Supervisors Comstock, Rushing, Farrington and Smith

NOES: None

ABSENT OR NOT VOTING: None

This ordinance will take effect on August 15, 2013.
