PUBLIC DISCUSSION ON PROPOSED
ADJUSTMENTS TO SUPERVISORIAL
DISTRICT BOUNDARIES
The 2011 Supervisorial Redistricting Advisory Committee would like to invite members of the public to attend one or more of the following public redistricting discussions:
– Monday, June 27, at 6 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport;
– Wednesday, June 29, 6:30 p.m., at the Calpine Visitor Center, 15500 Central Park Road, Middletown;
– Thursday, June 30, at 6 p.m., at the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center, 10th and Country Club, Lucerne;
– Change of location: Wednesday, July 6, at 6:30 p.m., at the Gard Street School, Kelseyville;
– Thursday, July 7, at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers at Clearlake City Hall, 14050 Olympic Drive, Clearlake.
At the public discussions, the proposed supervisorial district boundary adjustments will be displayed on screen for the public to view.
These public discussions will be informal and will give attendees an opportunity to make comments or suggestions before the advisory committee presents their proposed boundary adjustment recommendations to the Lake County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at 9:15 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California will hold a public hearing on application AM 11-03 proposing amendments to the Lake County Zoning Ordinance to add Regulations for the Cultivation of Medical Marijuana, by adding Article 72A to Chapter 21 of the Lake County Code.
This ordinance proposes to allow a limited number of medical marijuana plants to be cultivated by individual qualifying patients or primary caregivers within the “R1”, “SR”, “RR”, “RL”, “A”, “APZ” and “TPZ” zoning districts when following specific requirements delineated in the ordinance.
This ordinance further proposes to allow cultivation of up to 99 medical marijuana plants by collective or cooperative organizations in Lake County, subject to minor use permit approval, within the “RR”, “RL” and “A” zoning districts on parcels that are a minimum of 5 acres.

The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on June 23, 2011 at 10:15 AM, at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application UP 11-04 requesting a five year time extension for an existing billboard sign.
The project applicant is STOTT Outdoor Advertising.
The Planning Commission will reconsider the previously adopted mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 94-53.
The project is located at 1035 State Highway 29, Lower Lake, APN 012-028-21.
The previously approved mitigated negative declaration and initial study are currently available for review, and the staff report will be available for review ten (10) days before the hearing at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA.
