NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California will hold a public hearing on application AM 11-04 proposing an Ordinance to extend for an additional two years, the expiration dates of discretionary planning entitlements that have been approved, but not vested pursuant to Chapter 21 of the Lake County Code.


The project applicant is the Lake County Community Development Department.

The staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California.


The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on August 25, 2011 at 9:25 AM, at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.


If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED MINOR USE PERMIT EXTENSION

LAKE COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Community Development Director will consider approving a minor use permit extension (MUPX 11-01) to allow installation of a 4800-square foot modular clinic at Sutter Lakeside Hospital to remain for one additional five year period, located at 5176 Hill Road, Lakeport, APN 029-041-24.


The Community Development Director will reconsider the previously adopted mitigated negative declaration based on Initial Study IS 06-53. The previously approved negative declaration and the proposed conditions of approval are available from the Community Development Department Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport CA, 95453.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Lake, State of California has set TUESDAY, AUGUST 16, 2011, AT 1:30 P.M., Board Chambers, Courthouse, Lakeport, as time and place to hear APPEAL OF JOHN NADY (AB 10-04) OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION’S DENIAL OF A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION AND DECISION TO REQUIRE A FOCUSED ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT (EIR) FOCUSED ON THE IMPACTS OF CULTURAL ARCHEOLOGICAL RESOURCES associated with CEQA Grading Permit proposing grading to construct a residence, a caretakers cabin, stand alone bathroom, and associated utility trenching.


This appeal is associated with a Planning Commission determination concerning Rattlesnake Island in Clearlake Oaks (located at 12900 Sulphur Bank Mine Road, Clearlake Oaks, CA - APN 010-002-010-000). ALONG WITH THIS DECISION, THE APPELLANT IS REQUESTING THAT THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONSIDER ADOPTION OF A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THIS PROJECT BASED ON INITIAL STUDY IS 05-31 AND AUTHORIZING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR TO ISSUE THE GRADING PERMIT.
