NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California will hold a public hearing on application AM 11-02 proposing amendments to the Lake County Zoning Ordinance to add Regulations for the Dispensing of Medical Marijuana, by adding Article 72 to Chapter 21 of the Lake County Code.
This ordinance proposes to regulate and allow a limited number of medical marijuana dispensaries to be operated by collective or cooperative organizations in Lake County, subject to minor use permit approval, within the “C3”, “M1” and “M2” zoning districts.
The project applicant is the Lake County Community Development Department.

The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on April 28, 2011 at 10:00 AM, at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.

DECLARATION AND PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing for the replacement of the existing bridge over Cole Creek. The project applicant is Lake County Public Works Department.
The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 11-03 and General Plan Conformity Report GPC 11-07.
The project is located approximately 400 feet west of the intersection of Soda Bay Road and Clark Drive, Kelseyville, APN 008-029-15 & 044-583-01.
The proposed mitigated negative declaration will be available for review at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California, thirty (30) days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.

CONSIDERATION OF ORDINANCE-150-2011 ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARIES IN THE CITY OF CLEARLAKE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Clearlake Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, in the City Hall Council Chambers at 14050 Olympic Drive, Clearlake, California at 6:00 p.m. or soon thereafter. The purpose of the hearing is for the Planning Commission to hear public testimony to determine whether to recommend the Clearlake City Council adopt regulations for medical marijuana dispensaries in the City of Clearlake.
The public or any affected parties may review the Staff Reports and other relevant documents prior to the hearing. These documents will be available to the public from during City Hall business hours beginning on April 13, 2011, at Clearlake City Hall, 14050 Olympic Drive. Members of the public may submit written comments on the matter to the Planning Commission prior to the hearing and/or may appear at the public hearing and speak on the matter. Appeal of the Planning Commission’s decision is limited to the consideration of those issues addressed by the Planning Commission at the Public Hearing.
