NOTICE OF PROPOSED MITIGATION MONITORING PLAN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Community Development Director will consider adopting a Mitigated Negative Declaration and approving a Mitigation Monitoring Plan based on Initial Study 11-01 for the County of Lake, in accordance with Chapter 21 of the Lake County Zoning Ordinance to allow for the suction dredging of hydrilla tubers from the top twelve inches (12”) of sediment of the lake bottom, wherever hydrilla plants are located on Clear Lake.

The hydrilla containing sediment is to be delivered to an upland site where it will be dewatered and placed on a no-till vineyard and olive grove located at 8669 Bonham Rd. Lower Lake, CA. further described as APN 012-040-18.

NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the Community Development Director will approve this MITIGATION MONITORING PLAN without a public hearing if no written request for a public hearing is submitted to the Planning Division of the Community Development Department by 4:00 P.M., March 31, 2011.

Should a timely request for hearing be filed, a public hearing will be held on April 6, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in Conference Room C, 3rd Floor of the Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport, CA.
