NOTICE OF PROPOSED MINOR MODIFICATION TO USE PERMIT


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Zoning Administrator will consider adopting a mitigated negative declaration and approving a Minor Modification (MMU 09-07) to a previously approved Use Permit to Mine (UPM 03-04) based on Initial Study 09-25 of Epidendio Construction, Inc. in accordance with Lake County Code to allow excess soils including serpentine soils from excavation projects throughout the County to be deposited in man-made erosion gullies on the west side of Manning Flat. The property is located at 8350 & 8400 South State Hwy 29, Lower Lake, CA, APN’s 011-069-12 & 13.


The proposed mitigated negative declaration and all documents referenced in the proposed mitigated negative declaration are available for review at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA, and the proposed conditions of approval will be available May 14, 2010. The review period during which the Community Development Department will receive comments on the proposed mitigated negative declaration will start on May 5, 2010 and end on May 25, 2010.
