NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application VR 09-03 proposing a variance from the thirty-foot front yard setback requirement for structures within the Scenic Combining District of the Zoning Ordinance to allow construction of an attached ±760 square foot single story garage with a maximum height of fourteen feet eight inches that varies from twelve to nineteen feet from the front property line. The project applicant is Ken Pounds. The project is located at 4530 Lakeshore Blvd., Lakeport, CA, APN 029-121-27. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the Lake County Watershed Protection District hereby declares its intent to purchase real property consisting of land located at 1305 Reclamation, Upper Lake, CA (APN 004-021-30-00), to be used for the purpose of flood control protection as provided in the State of California Water Code Section 79037, Division 26, Chapter 5, Article 2.5. The seller is Deutsche Bank National Trust Company, as trustee for Long Beach Mortgage Loan Trust 2006-06.


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the Lake County Watershed Protection District will conduct a public hearing on TUESDAY, MARCH 23, 2010, at 9:15 a.m., Board Chambers, Courthouse, Lakeport, as time and place for consideration of the proposed purchase and the necessary actions to complete the purchase of said property.


NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that at said time and place any interested person may appear and be heard.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California will hold a public hearing on application UPM 09-01 proposing a major use permit to mine for a Modification of the Tailings Impoundment Facility. The project applicant is Homestake Mining Company. The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration and Reclamation Plan Modification for this project based on Initial Study IS 09-35. The project is located at 26775 Morgan Valley Road, Lower Lake, CA, APN 012-065-12. The proposed mitigated negative declaration will be available for review at the Community Development Department, (Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA) 30 days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.
