NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT
A CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION AND
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY
THE LAKE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will consider recommended environmental determinations and hold a public hearing on whether to approve, conditionally approve, or deny the projects described in this notice.
A public hearing to consider the listed projects will be held on Thursday July 27, 2017, at 9:15 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the business of the Commission will allow in the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers located at 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, California.
If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
Use Permit Extension, UPX 17-01, and Categorical Exemption, CE 17-09. Applicant: Geysers Power Company, LLC. Project: To allow life of the project extension of time (UPX 17-01) for Use Permit, UP 06-23 for Unit 13 an existing geothermal, electric-generating power plant. The facility is located on approximately 6 acres and consists of a welding shop, station maintenance office, rigging shop, switchyard, turbine building and accessory buildings that support the operations of Unit 13. BY THE LAKE COUNTY ZONING ADMINISTRATOR
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Zoning Administrator of the County of Lake, State of California, will consider approving Minor Use Permit 17-12 with no public hearing if no written request for a public hearing is submitted by 5:00 P.M., July 26, 2017 to the Community Development Department, Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport, California.
