NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on Parcel Map application (PM 15-02), proposing to divide +- 3.7 acres into two parcels.
The project applicant is CROSS DEVELOPMENT on behalf of DOLLAR GENERAL.
The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a mitigated negative declaration for this project based on Initial Study (IS 15-11), available April 6, 2016.
The project is located at 20900 State Highway 29, Middletown, CA, and further described as APN 024-501-18. The staff report will be available April 17, 2016 at the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA.

The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on April 28, 2016 at 10:15 AM, at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.

PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California will hold a hearing on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at 11:00 A.M., Board Chambers, Courthouse, Lakeport, to consider adoption of a proposed amendment to the HOUSING ELEMENT of the LAKE COUNTY GENERAL PLAN (GPAP 16-05), which includes an assessment of housing needs and an inventory of resources and constraints relevant to meeting those needs.
The update acknowledges the dissolution of the Redevelopment Agency and is aimed at enhancing opportunities for development of affordable housing in Lake County through the year 2019.
The Planning Commission will also consider recommending approval of the Public Review Draft to the Board of Supervisors.
The Planning Commission will also consider adoption of a Negative Declaration for this general plan update based on Initial Study IS 16-11.
The proposed negative declaration will be available for review at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA, twenty (20) days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available 10 days before the hearing.

Copies of the HOUSING ELEMENT update are available for review at all County libraries and in the Community Development Department, Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA.
The HOUSING ELEMENT can be reviewed electronically online at www.co.lake.ca.us/cdd .
The review period during which the Community Development Department will receive comments on the draft Housing Element will start on April 1, 2016 and end May 1, 2016.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that at said place and time, any interested persons may appear and be heard. If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the Secretary of the Planning Commission or Clerk of the Board at, or prior to, the public hearing.
