NOTICE OF ELECTION AND DATE FIXED FOR SUBMITTING ARGUMENTS ON
KELSEYVILLE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT’S – SCHOOL BOND MEASURE 'U'
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Kelseyville Unified School District’s School Bond Measure “U” will be consolidated with the Presidential Primary Election to be held on June 7, 2016, and there will be submitted to the qualified voters of the Kelseyville Unified School District as set forth below:
“To improve the quality of education with funding that cannot be taken by the State; repair or replace leaky roofs; modernize/renovate outdated classrooms, restrooms and school facilities; repair/replace inefficient heating and air-conditioning systems; update inadequate electrical systems; and upgrade P.E. fields and facilities for school and community use; shall the Kelseyville Unified School District issue $24,000,000 of bonds at legal rates, have an independent citizens’ oversight committee and have NO money used for administrative salaries?”

Arguments for and against School Bond Measure “U” must be typed and submitted to the Lake County Registrar of Voters, Courthouse-Room 209, 255 N Forbes Street, Lakeport, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016.
Written arguments may be submitted by the Governing Board of the Kelseyville Unified School District or any member or members of the board, or any individual voter who is eligible to vote on the measure, or bona fide association of citizens, or any combination of such voters and associations may file a written argument for or against any school measure.
No argument shall exceed 300 words in length. No more than five signatures shall appear with any argument.
All arguments must be accompanied by the “Statement That Argument Is True And Correct” as required by Section 9600 of the CA Elections Code provided by the Registrar of Voters office, stating the printed name and signature or printed names and signatures of the person or persons submitting it or, if submitted on behalf of an organization, the name of the organization and the printed name and signature of at least one of its principal officers.
Only one argument for and one argument against School Bond Measure “U” shall be selected for printing and distribution with the sample ballots.
Author(s) of a selected argument may prepare and submit a rebuttal argument not exceeding 250 words to the Lake County Registrar of Voters no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016.
The Registrar of Voters will notify the author(s) of selected arguments in writing of the procedure to submit a rebuttal argument.
Interested persons are advised to contact the Registrar of Voters office at 707-263-2372 prior to the deadline (March 25, 2016) for filing arguments.
The Kelseyville Unified School District’s Bond Measure “U” will be submitted to the voters residing within the Kelseyville Unified School District at the Presidential Primary Election to be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. The polls will be open between the hours of 7:00 am to 8:00 pm on Election Day.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on PM 15-15, proposing a Parcel Map to divide two parcels, totaling ±0.74 acres into three parcels of ±0.34 acres, ±0.21 acres and ±0.19 acres in the R2-SC Zoning District.
The project applicant is LINDA GARNHART.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application UP 15-13 proposing a Major Use Permit to construct a new seventy foot tall monopole cellular antenna disguised as a broad leaf type tree.
Twelve new six foot tall panel type antennae, two six foot diameter microwave dishes and other assorted required equipment will be mounted on the mono-tree antenna, while various ground based equipment consisting of four equipment cabinets, a 30 KW diesel powered backup generator and a 132 gallon fuel tank will be located on concrete pads within a thirty-five foot by twenty-five foot lease area.
The project is located at 9702 State Highway 53, Lower Lake, CA, APN 024-234-02.
The project applicant is VERIZON WIRELESS.
The Planning Commission will consider the mitigated negative declaration based on Initial Study IS 15-23, available March 4, 2016.
