NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on an Appeal to the Board of Supervisors (AB 13-01) of the Planning Commission’s decision to approve the Use Permit Time Extension (UPX 12-02) of Use Permit (UP 85-27) for a thirty year time extension allowing continued operations of an existing steamfield.
The appellant is The Friends of Cobb Mountain. The site is located at 7525, 7385 & 7500 High Valley Road, Cobb, CA and further described as APNs 013-002-03, 04 & 05.
The staff report will be available at the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA, ten (10) days before the hearing.

The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at 9:15 AM, at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.

SUMMARY OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors, County of Lake, State of California, has set TUESDAY, APRIL 9, 2013, 9:15 A.M., as time and place to consider a proposed Ordinance adding Article Seven to Chapter Seven of the Lake County Code to provide support for Public, Educational and Governmental (PEG) Cable television access facilities.
If adopted as proposed, this ordinance will provide for a one-percent (1%) fee on the cable operator’s gross revenues, to be collected within the unincorporated areas of the County. This ordinance will only take effect if similar ordinances are adopted in both the Cities of Clearlake and Lakeport. At the discretion of the Board of Supervisors, during the public hearing, any part of the proposed Ordinance may be amended and/or omitted from the final approved version. A certified copy of the proposed ordinance is available in the Office of the Clerk of the Board, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, CA 95453.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that at said time and place any interested person may appear and be heard.

SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 2985
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, State of California, has adopted Ordinance No. 2985, adding Article X to Chapter 15 of the Lake County Code establishing standards for the issuance of Marina Berthing Licenses in the County of Lake.
This ordinance establishes standards for the issuance of berths in marinas owned by the County of Lake. The ordinance outlines the requirements for a license, the application procedure, conditions of license approval and revocation, access and terms of use of marina facilities and applicability of the ordinance. A certified copy of the full text of the ordinance is posted for public review on the First Floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California. This ordinance was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Comstock, Rushing, Farrington, Brown and Smith

This ordinance will take effect on April 9, 2013.
