NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on the DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT PREPARED FOR THE VALLEY OAKS PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL. The purpose of this hearing is to provide increased opportunities for public comment on the Draft EIR. The comment period is open through January 23, 2009. The Draft EIR is available for review by the public on the Community Development Department’s link on the County Web site: www.co.lake.ca.us.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that said public hearing shall be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on the 22nd day of January, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard thereon. No formal action on this proposal will be made by the Planning Commission during this informational, first hearing concerning the project.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake will hold a public hearing on application AM 08-01 proposing amendments to the Lake County Zoning Ordinance pertaining to bed and breakfast inns, detached granny units, and creating a new category of off-site signage for certain shopping centers and business districts.
