PUBLIC NOTICE OF VACANCY AND PROVISIONAL APPOINTMENT
This notice, pursuant to Education Code 5092, is to inform the public that the following individual was interviewed and selected at an Open Session Board meeting on January 28, 2009, by the Middletown Unified School District’s Board of Trustees as a Provisional Appointment to that Board, effective February 11, 2009, until the next regular election of the MUSD Board of Trustees in November 2010:
Name: Mrs. Lynette Carrillo
Address: P.O. Box 983, 21126 Yankee Valley Rd., Hidden Valley Lake, CA 95467.
Mrs. Carrillo will replace former Trustee James Comstock who resigned from the Board, effective January 4, 2009.
Furthermore, this Public Notice serves to inform others that unless a petition calling for a special election, containing a sufficient number of signatures, is filed in the office of the Lake County Superintendent of Schools at 1152 South Main Street, Lakeport, California 95453, within 30 days of the date of the provisional appointment, it shall become an effective appointment.
